PARENT INFORMATION

There are several things that we at PRCMS have put into place to keep you informed about what is going on with our student while here with us at the middle school.

  • Student Planner:  This is a calendar in which students write assignments and teachers check to make sure they are writing the        assignments.  This book also includes a student handbook and other facts that are useful to students.
  • Bi-Monthly Newsletter:  This is a class newsletter that goes home with your student every other week that includes homework and project information that is relevant to your child's team.
  • Remind 101:  This is a text reminding system that you subscribe to on your phone.  Most sign up information is incluededin the newsletter but can be obtained by emailing one of your child's teachers for the information.
  • Active Parent:  This link is located on the school website.  This will allow you to view all grades, attendance, and discipline.  It is easy to set up an account directly from the link.
  • Conferences:  Of course you are more than welcome to set up a conference with your child's teachers by calling 601-798-5654.
  • Tutoring:  This is a free service that our teachers offer every morning to students who may need help.  It is up to your child to attend.
Sooner or later, almost every child will face a problem in school.  It may be a skill that is hard for them to master, homework, getting along with a teacher, or problems with a peer.  Luckily, most problems are easily resolved when teachers, students, and parents work together.
